Geographic location:  Andorra, also known as the Principality of the Valleys of Andorra, is a small landlocked country 181 sq miles in size, located in western Europe bordered by Spain and France.  Andorra la Vella is the country's capital city.

Official language: Catalan, while smaller portions of the population speak Spanish and French.

The Parliament (General Council) has between 28 and 42 members of the legislative branch , known as Councilors. They each serve four-year terms.  Half of the Councilors come from a single national constituency and the other half comes the seven administrative parishes, through elections.  The Councilors elect a Prime Minister from their ranks.
